This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
This is.. well.. basically the design development of my book illustration school thesis last 2008. it's not much, but i hope it would insipire young, budding artists and designers as well in anyway it could. The book illustrations i made were for Choy Gaerlan's, "The Mystery of the Empty House". It's a Filipino fiction book that i bought from, "La Solidaridad Bookstore", a filipino literature specialty shop found in Padre Faura, Taft Avenue. Anyway, the theme of the book is more like a Filipino version of, "Scooby doo, Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys", put together. (I'm sure everyone's familiar with) And as you all know, these are semi-comedic, horror stories which actually made it more fun to work on. These images are actual experiments or should I call it character designs and book cover sketches that i produced for the book. These drawings are rather few, but i guess nothing explains design development better than a few hand-drawn illustrations. Oh and by the way, I also included colored images of the front and back cover of the book painted in gouache watercolor.. (it was painted on a regular sketchpad paper, so you can imagine how carefull i had to be not to damage the paper getting it too wet and all) *breathes* Enjoy!
